Championships

The championship competition is held at the end of the season and is simply an end of the season event. All five teams in the Central Pennsylvania Swim League (CPSL) participate. Champs is divided into two separate meets, one for the younger kids and one for the older kids.

FOR THE 2011 SEASON:
• Swimmers ages 11 & up compete Friday, July 29th at Welch.
• Swimmers ages 10 & under compete Saturday, July 30th at Lewistown.

Swimmers must have competed in three regular meets in order to be eligible to swim at Champs.

We strongly encourage all swimmers to participate in championships. In the past, relay teams have suffered because of swimmers opting not to swim. But whether you're on a relay or not, championships is a lot of fun, and the kids all enjoy a big, end-of-season meet with their friends.
