GRETCHEN MILLER, HEAD COACH

Gretchen Miller was a swimmer for Welch for 14 years; she also swam for SCAY for six years.  She began her coaching career in 2007 with the SCAY swim team, she continued to coach to 2009. She has coached for Welch for the past two years. Gretchen just finished her freshman year swimming for Elizabethtown College, and she is majoring in early childhood education. She is looking forward to another great season.

MICHELE GINGHER

After swimming on Welch Swim Team for 9 years, Michele is excited to come back as a coach.  Growing up in State College, she swam for SCAY, Big Cat, and State High.  Now, she swims middle distance backstroke and butterfly on the swim team at Eastern Michigan University, and is going to be a junior there in the fall.  She plans to major in international business and will be studying abroad in France for the fall semester.

MATTHEW ANTLE

State College native Matt Antle has a long history with the Welch Swim Team, after swimming on the team for 11 years.  Currently 19 years old, he just finished his freshman year at Penn State on the University Park Campus.  During high school, he was on the State High swim team all four years.  In two of those years, he made it to states in the 500 yard freestyle.
