2011 Jobs

Job Descriptions:

This is a volunteer-run program, and we could always use more help. Volunteering is always a huge help to the team. In order to help you learn what each position entails, we put together the following list in order to help you decide what you want to do for meet jobs and manager jobs.

Meet Jobs:

Timers
Time for half of a meet.

Officials
Make sure all swimmers have legal strokes and turns. Training available.

Runners
Run the cards from the swimmers to the timers, and from the timers to the scorers, for half of the meet. At least four people per meet.

Scorers
Average the two times the timers wrote on the card, input scores into the computer. Training available. At least three positions per meet.

Concession Helpers:
Help in the concession area.

Seeding:
Help in the seeding area, lining up the kids before their race. One position per meet.
