If a meet is canceled because of thunder/lightning, it will be rescheduled for later in the season, time permitting. Call the CRPR to determine if a meet has been canceled.
If thunder/lightning begins during a meet, it will be delayed until there has not been a re-occurrence of the thunder/lightning for at least 15 minutes. If a meet in progress is stopped before the breaststroke events because of inclement weather, the meet will be rescheduled, time permitting. If the meet is stopped after the breaststroke events, it will be considered a completed meet and scored with those events.
DO NOT leave a meet in progress without notifying the coaches. This includes meets that are delayed for thunder/ lightning.
